St. Petersburg’s arts scene will get a burst of energy this fall when “AMPED: Turn Up for the Arts” opens at FloridaRAMA Gallery on Sept. 5, 2026. The exhibition and fundraiser invites the community to celebrate local creativity while supporting the region’s cultural ecosystem. Running through Nov. 1, the show features original work from visual artists, filmmakers, and performers ages 18 and older who live in Pinellas or Hillsborough County.
Organizers note that there is no required theme, giving artists broad freedom to submit work created within the past two years. Still, the call encourages pieces that reflect joy, resilience, growth, and community — ideas that echo the spirit of St. Petersburg’s vibrant arts culture. All artists selected for the exhibition will receive a complimentary ticket to the opening celebration, adding a festive kickoff to the show’s run.
The announcement comes amid a lively month for St. Pete arts, with new exhibitions, museum reopenings, and public art initiatives across the city. From mural festivals to community meetings and artist opportunities, the newsletter highlights a city where creative expression is woven into daily life. “AMPED” promises to add another dynamic stop to that growing calendar, drawing together artists, supporters, and visitors for an evening devoted to the power of the arts.
