Anime fans in St. Petersburg will have a chance to gather for a special big-screen screening during Anime Movie House at Culture Creative on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2025. The event is listed in I Love the Burg’s weekly events roundup as a chance to watch anime alongside fellow enthusiasts in a shared theater setting, offering a community-focused alternative to streaming at home.
Culture Creative will host the screening as part of a packed late-summer lineup of local happenings that also includes speed dating, a clothing swap, baseball, and other nightlife and culture events across the Tampa Bay area. While the newsletter does not name the specific film, the event’s format suggests a casual, fan-friendly movie night designed to bring together anime lovers of all ages.
With indie theaters and pop-up experiences continuing to draw attention across Pinellas County, Anime Movie House fits neatly into the growing appetite for smaller, more social entertainment options. For attendees, it’s a chance to enjoy anime on the big screen, connect with a like-minded crowd, and make a weeknight feel a little more special.
