Families looking for a fun way to wrap up summer will want to check out the Back to School Bash at St. Pete Athletic on Sunday, August 9, 2025. According to I Love the Burg’s weekend events roundup, the morning event is free and designed especially for kids, offering a cheerful sendoff before classrooms reopen.
St. Pete Athletic will host a mix of games and crafts, giving children a chance to stay active while also getting creative. The bash is part of a busy weekend lineup in St. Petersburg, with events ranging from a women’s entrepreneur summit to a food fest and live music. But for parents in search of something family-friendly, the Back to School Bash stands out as an easy, low-cost option that brings the community together.
The event reflects the newsletter’s broader focus on local happenings that make the region feel connected and lively. With school just around the corner, it’s the perfect opportunity for kids to enjoy one more morning of summer fun, and for families to ease into the school season with a little play, laughter, and community spirit.
