Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl in Concert at Mahaffey Theater on 09/18/26

The Florida Orchestra will bring blockbuster adventure to life when Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl in Concert takes the stage at Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg on Friday, Sept. 18, 2026, and again on Saturday, Sept. 19. Part of the orchestra’s 59th season, the live-to-film presentation will let audiences experience the entire movie on the big screen while the orchestra performs Klaus Badelt and Hans Zimmer’s sweeping score live. The production is licensed by Disney Concerts and features a chorus from The Master Chorale of Tampa Bay.

The Sept. 19 matinee lands on International Talk Like a Pirate Day, adding another layer of fun to the weekend events. In keeping with the swashbuckling spirit of the film and Tampa Bay’s own pirate heritage, attendees are encouraged to dress in pirate attire.

Based on the Disney Parks attraction and starring Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow, the 2003 film launched one of Disney’s most successful franchises. Tickets for the concert start at $28, and are on sale now through FloridaOrchestra.org or by calling the Ticket Center. The performance is one of two new pop culture concerts announced by The Florida Orchestra to kick off its season.
