John Williams @ 95 Celebrates Music from Star Wars to Harry Potter at the Straz Center on 10/30/26

The Florida Orchestra will salute one of film music’s most beloved composers with John Williams @ 95, a concert celebrating the legendary score writer’s enduring legacy. The performance is set for Oct. 30 at the Straz Center, with a second presentation following on Nov. 1 at the Mahaffey Theater. Audiences can expect a sweeping program drawn from Williams’ most iconic music, including themes from Star Wars and Harry Potter.

The event arrives as part of a busy fall season for The Florida Orchestra, which is also opening its Masterworks series and rolling out a string of pops and classical performances across Tampa Bay. The Williams tribute joins a lineup that includes Revolution: The Music of The Beatles, a debut appearance by pianist Jeneba Kanneh-Mason, and a free outdoor Pops in the Park concert.

For movie fans and symphony supporters alike, John Williams @ 95 promises to be a highlight of the season. Williams’ scores have helped define modern cinema, and his music continues to resonate far beyond the screen. The Straz Center performance offers Tampa Bay audiences a chance to hear those unforgettable melodies performed live in a grand concert setting.
