Join the Franklin Street Block Party on 04/26/26

Get ready for a fantastic community celebration! On April 22, 2026, Tampa Theatre invites everyone to join the Franklin Street Block Party from 5 PM to 7 PM. This free event, presented by Urban E Recycling, will mark Earth Day with a vibrant atmosphere filled with music, giveaways, and fun activities for families. The 700-block of Franklin Street in front of the Theatre will come alive with community partners, local vendors, and exciting entertainment for all ages. Attendees are encouraged to participate in a unique Book and Plant Exchange, where you can bring gently used books and rooted or potted plant cuttings to trade with others. While the historic auditorium undergoes restoration, this block party is a great way to engage with the community, enjoy the scenic area, and take part in eco-friendly initiatives. Whether you’re a resident or just visiting, the Franklin Street Block Party is an excellent opportunity to celebrate Earth Day and connect with your neighbors in a festive environment. Mark your calendars and make plans to join us for this enjoyable community event!
