Pinellas County artists are invited to participate in an Online Artist Information Webinar on November 1, 2026, at 6 PM via Google Meet. Sponsored by Creative Pinellas, this webinar aims to provide insight into two exciting open calls for entries currently available to local artists. During this live session, artists will have the opportunity to interact with Creative Pinellas’s Funding Director, Todd Wellman. He will offer detailed information about the projects, application requirements, and eligibility criteria. One of the key projects involves a commission for a large, approximately 900 square-foot mural located in the Lealman area, which comes with a generous stipend of $15,000 and a budget of $5,400 for materials. Additionally, five artists will be selected to wrap five signal boxes in the community with their artwork, each receiving a stipend of $1,000. Interested artists are encouraged to attend the webinar to have their questions answered and kickstart their applications. The deadline for applications is January 30 at noon, so don’t miss this valuable opportunity to engage and learn about these creative initiatives.
