Country music fans in St. Petersburg have a big night to look forward to this week as Little Big Town brings its For the Art of It Tour to the Mahaffey Theater. The performance is part of a busy lineup of local happenings highlighted in the latest I Love the Burg newsletter, which also spotlights community events, food festivals, and live entertainment across Tampa Bay. But for music lovers, the Mahaffey show is a clear centerpiece.
Known for their rich harmonies and crowd-pleasing hits, Little Big Town has built a reputation as one of country’s most polished live acts. The For the Art of It Tour promises a mix of fan favorites and newer material, giving audiences a chance to hear the group’s signature blend of vocal power and storytelling in an intimate theater setting. The Mahaffey’s waterfront location and elegant performance space make it a fitting venue for an evening of big vocals and polished production.
The concert arrives during a packed September calendar for the region, with everything from peace-themed gatherings and community forums to flea markets and fall festivals. Still, Little Big Town’s stop at the Mahaffey stands out as one of the week’s marquee events, offering a chance to hear one of country music’s most beloved groups live in downtown St. Pete.
