Mental Health First Aid Training at Dunedin Fine Art Center on 03/26/26

On March 27, 2026, the Dunedin Fine Art Center will host a vital Mental Health First Aid training session tailored for artists and cultural service workers. This initiative, organized by Creative Pinellas, aims to equip attendees with the skills necessary to identify, understand, and respond effectively to mental health issues and substance use challenges within the creative community. The training will run from 9 am to 3 pm, including two hours of self-paced online content followed by five hours of instructor-led training facilitated by the foundation Love IV Lawrence. Participants will learn how to provide appropriate support to individuals in crisis and connect them with necessary resources. Refreshments and lunch will be provided for all attendees. Space is limited, so interested individuals are encouraged to register before the March 13 deadline. This training is part of a broader initiative to promote the wellbeing of Pinellas County’s artistic community, reflecting Creative Pinellas’s commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all creators.
