Mental Health First Aid Training at FloridaRAMA on 03/26/26

Creative Pinellas invites artists and cultural service workers to participate in the upcoming Mental Health First Aid training on March 28, 2026, at FloridaRAMA. This initiative aims to enhance the wellbeing of the local creative community by equipping participants with essential skills to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use challenges. The training runs from 9 AM to 3 PM and will feature refreshments and lunch for attendees. This comprehensive program, facilitated by the Love IV Lawrence foundation, consists of two hours of self-paced online content followed by five hours of engaging instructor-led training. Upon completion, participants will be empowered to provide critical support to individuals in crisis and connect them with appropriate resources. As space is limited, those interested are encouraged to register by March 14 to secure their spot. Additional training sessions are available at different locations, including Lealman Exchange and freeFall Theatre. This initiative is part of Creative Pinellas’s commitment to fostering a vibrant, inclusive arts community and ensuring the mental health of its members is prioritized.
