Mental Health First Aid Training at Lealman Exchange on 03/26/26

On March 25, 2026, the Lealman Exchange will host a vital Mental Health First Aid Training session aimed at equipping artists and cultural service workers with the skills to support individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. This initiative, led by Creative Pinellas in partnership with the foundation Love IV Lawrence, is designed to enhance the wellbeing of the local creative community. The comprehensive training program includes two hours of self-paced online content before participants engage in five hours of in-person, instructor-led training. This session runs from 9 AM to 3 PM and will include refreshments and lunch. Due to limited space, early registration is encouraged, with a deadline of March 11 to secure a spot for the Lealman Exchange event. Participants will learn how to identify signs of crisis, provide immediate support, and connect those in need with appropriate care. By fostering mental health awareness and education, this program empowers individuals to take impactful roles in their personal and public health responses. For registration and more information, interested individuals should reach out to Creative Pinellas.
