Creative Pinellas is inviting local artists to participate in an exciting mural installation opportunity at 5675 34th St. N. in Lealman. This project entails the commission of a stunning approximately 900 square-foot mural, with a generous stipend of $15,000 plus an additional $5,400 for materials and vendor expenses. Artists interested in applying should mark their calendars for January 30th, as applications will be accepted until noon on that day. To learn more about the application process and the requirements, an online artist information webinar will be held via Google Meet at 6 PM on January 30th, led by Funding Director Todd Wellman. Additionally, there is a chance for five artists to enhance the community further by beautifying signal boxes with their artwork for a stipend of $1,000 each. This initiative not only aims to support local artists but also to amplify the visual appeal of the Lealman area. Interested artists should not miss this opportunity to contribute to their community’s culture and landscape.
