Tampa Theatre is marking Art House Theatre Day on July 30 with a special screening of Once Upon a Time in a Cinema at the Taylor Screening Room. The 2026 drama will play at 7:00 p.m., offering moviegoers a chance to celebrate independent cinema with one of the day’s featured titles. Running 1 hour and 33 minutes, the film is not rated and joins a lineup that also includes the documentary Out of Print earlier that afternoon.
The event is part of Tampa Theatre’s broader tribute to local and independent film, presented in partnership with Art House Convergence. While the email did not provide a plot summary for Once Upon a Time in a Cinema, its placement on this special day suggests a film chosen to honor the spirit of art house storytelling and the communal experience of watching something distinctive on the big screen.
For audiences looking for an evening screening, the Taylor Screening Room show offers a highlight of the July 30 celebration and a fitting capstone to a day devoted to thoughtful, uncommon cinema.
