St. Petersburg’s arts scene is getting a major new attraction this August with the opening of the Penny Lane Beatles Museum at 146 2nd Street N. Set to debut in early August, the museum will become the nation’s only museum dedicated exclusively to the Beatles, offering fans and visitors a one-of-a-kind experience in the heart of downtown.
The new location is four times larger than the museum’s former Dunedin home, allowing for an expanded presentation of rare memorabilia, interactive exhibits, and carefully curated displays celebrating the band’s lasting cultural influence. The move marks a significant step forward for the museum, which aims to create a richer, more immersive experience for longtime Beatles enthusiasts and first-time visitors alike.
Its opening adds another highlight to St. Petersburg’s growing cultural landscape. With the Penny Lane Beatles Museum, the city now counts twelve museums, further strengthening its reputation as a destination for art, history, and creative exploration. As summer unfolds, the museum’s arrival underscores St. Pete’s continued investment in arts and attractions that draw both residents and visitors into the city’s vibrant neighborhood scene.
