Penny Lane Beatles Museum Opens in St. Pete on 08/01/26

St. Petersburg’s arts scene is adding a major new attraction this August with the opening of the Penny Lane Beatles Museum at 146 2nd Street N. The museum is scheduled to open in early August and will be the nation’s only museum dedicated exclusively to the Beatles. It will also occupy a space four times larger than its former location in Dunedin, giving visitors more room to experience the iconic band’s story in depth. According to the City of St. Petersburg’s August Arts, Culture & Tourism newsletter, the expanded museum will feature rare memorabilia, interactive exhibits, and carefully curated displays that highlight the Beatles’ lasting cultural influence.

The opening adds another milestone to St. Pete’s growing reputation as an arts destination. The city is now home to twelve museums, and the Penny Lane Beatles Museum joins a busy season of exhibitions, public art, and creative programming across the community. From historic collections to contemporary murals, St. Petersburg continues to invest in experiences that draw residents and visitors alike. For Beatles fans, music lovers, and curious neighbors, the new museum promises a fresh reason to explore downtown and celebrate one of the world’s most enduring bands.
