Public Arts Meetings at City Hall Span August and September 2026

St. Petersburg residents will have several chances to weigh in on the city’s arts future this summer and early fall, as public arts meetings at City Hall run from mid-August through mid-September 2026. The City of St. Petersburg’s August Arts, Culture & Tourism newsletter encourages the public to attend and offer comment at meetings that help shape everything from grant funding to public art planning.

The schedule begins with an Arts Advisory Committee meeting on August 14 at 10 a.m. at City Hall. Two more meetings follow on August 28, when the committee reconvenes at 9 a.m. and the City of the Arts Grant Panel review meets at 9:30 a.m. The public will then have opportunities to speak again at the Public Arts Commission meeting on September 1 at 3 p.m., followed by the Manhattan Casino Public Art Sub-committee meeting on September 16 at 3 p.m.

The city says community input is central to keeping St. Pete’s arts scene vibrant and responsive. Those meetings come amid a busy season for local arts, including new museum openings, exhibitions, and calls for artists. Together, the events underscore how public participation continues to guide St. Petersburg’s creative identity and the future of its public art investments.
