The Florida Orchestra is celebrating one of the most iconic bands in music history with Revolution: The Music of the Beatles, a spirited Pops presentation set for Friday, October 9, and Saturday, October 10, at 7:30 p.m. The concert brings the Beatles’ legendary songs to life with a full orchestra, top vocalists, rare photos, and stunning video, creating a fresh symphonic take on classics generations know by heart.
Led by Grammy winner Jeff Tyzik, the program features arrangements inspired by the original Abbey Road recordings, giving familiar favorites a dramatic new sound. Audiences can expect to hear beloved hits including Hey Jude, Here Comes the Sun, Penny Lane, and Twist and Shout, all reimagined for the concert stage.
The performances will be held at the Straz Center’s Ferguson Hall in Tampa on October 9 and at the Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg on October 10. In addition to the music, The Florida Orchestra will display select memorabilia from the Penny Lane Beatles Museum in the lobby before both concerts, adding a nostalgic touch for fans eager to explore the band’s legacy.
Tickets are available online, by phone, and at The Florida Orchestra Ticket Center.
