Tampa Theatre is kicking off a wild new comedy-action ride with the opening of Stop! That! Train! at the Taylor Screening Room on Friday, June 26. The 2026 film runs 1 hour and 30 minutes and is rated R, promising a fast-paced, campy farce that channels the spirit of classic Zucker, Abrahams and Zucker spoofs. Described as an outrageous “trainwreck” in the best possible way, the movie blends big laughs, high-energy action, and plenty of heart.
The film brings together an ensemble cast packed with drag performers and comedians, including RuPaul, Ginger Minj, Jujubee, Symone, Brock Hayhoe, Paul Scheer, Chris Parnell, and Joel McHale. With that kind of lineup, audiences can expect quick jokes, bold characters, and a playful tone that leans all the way into its over-the-top premise.
Stop! That! Train! is one of several films arriving at Tampa Theatre soon, but it stands out as a uniquely lively summer option for moviegoers looking for something silly, stylish, and self-aware. Tickets are available now, and the screening room is set to welcome fans eager for a comedic detour that’s as chaotic as it is entertaining.
