Submissions due for Futurology summer show on 05/26/26

The Dunedin Fine Arts Center invites artists to submit their work for its upcoming summer show, Futurology, with a submission deadline set for May 12, 2026. This exhibition focuses on exploring themes related to the future, offering a platform for artists to delve into innovative and imaginative concepts that may reshape our understanding of what lies ahead. Cash prizes will be awarded to outstanding works, adding an incentive for artists to showcase their creativity and vision. Futurology promises to be an engaging event that encourages dialogue around the imagination and ideas that define our future. In addition, Creative Pinellas is fostering community engagement in the arts by supporting various initiatives, including the recent announcement of $60,000 in NEA grants for local artists as part of the America250 celebration. As various exhibitions, performances, and educational programs are set to transform spaces across Pinellas County this summer, Futurology will contribute to a vibrant arts scene that inspires both participants and viewers alike. Artists in the Dunedin area are encouraged to take part in this unique opportunity to share their interpretations of the future.
