Clearwater Marine Aquarium is inviting families to make the most of a summer evening with its special after-hours event, Summer Sips & Sea Lions, on July 17, 2026. The event offers a fun chance to explore the aquarium after regular hours while enjoying a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. One of the biggest highlights is the opportunity to meet the aquarium’s newest sea lions, Wahoo and Tuna, who are already drawing attention as playful additions to the attraction.
The event stands out as a unique way to experience one of Tampa Bay’s favorite marine destinations without the daytime crowds. Guests can expect an evening that blends entertainment, education, and up-close animal encounters, making it a strong pick for parents looking for something memorable to do with kids. It also fits neatly into a busy summer lineup of local attractions, with other weekend options ranging from the Tampa Bay Rays’ Longo’s Legacy Weekend to rides, festivals, and museum outings.
For families who love marine life, Summer Sips & Sea Lions promises a special chance to unwind, learn, and connect with the aquarium’s animals in a more intimate setting. It’s the kind of summer outing that turns an ordinary Friday into a standout memory.
