Tampa Bay Rodeo at Hillsborough County Fairgrounds – 09/04/26

The Tampa Bay Rodeo is set to bring two nights of high-energy action to the Hillsborough County Fairgrounds on September 4-5, 2026, with gates opening at 4:30 p.m. each day. The fall event is being billed as the first-ever Tampa Bay Rodeo & Family Festival, and it arrives after a sold-out July rodeo that prompted strong demand for another show. As part of a yearlong celebration of America’s 250th, the Labor Day weekend lineup will feature full rodeo competition, including bull riding, bronco busting, barrel racing, calf roping and more.

Families can get there early to enjoy the festival atmosphere before the main event begins. Planned activities include live music by Noah Hunton, a variety of food options, a mechanical bull, axe throwing, giant inflatable slides and military vehicle displays. The rodeo also emphasizes honoring the military while offering what organizers call Florida’s Hottest Show on Dirt.

The event is scheduled to take place rain or shine, though activities are subject to change. For Tampa Bay families looking for a festive way to wrap up summer, the rodeo promises an evening of thrills, entertainment and classic competition.
