St. Petersburg is set to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary in a big way at the St. Pete Pier on July 4 with “The Fourth at the St. Pete Pier.” The full-day waterfront event, hosted by Pier Events, LLC, will bring together live music, family-friendly activities, and on-water performances for a patriotic holiday spectacle along the bay.
Among the featured entertainment will be the Sarasota Ski-A-Rees, whose water show is expected to add bursts of energy to the festivities, while The Actual Bank Robbers will headline the main stage with a live set. The celebration will build toward a large-scale “America 250” fireworks display launched from two barges around the Pier, an effects show billed as one of the biggest in the Tampa Bay region.
The event reflects St. Pete’s ongoing commitment to arts, culture, and community programming, turning one of the city’s signature public spaces into a destination for residents and visitors alike. With the Pier as the backdrop, the Fourth of July promises an evening of music, spectacle, and waterfront views in honor of a historic milestone.
