Tampa Theatre is set to welcome a new summer title to the Taylor Screening Room with the arrival of The Invite on Thursday, July 9. The 2026 film runs 1 hour and 47 minutes and is rated R, with a mix of comedy, drama, and romance that suggests a sharp, relationship-driven story. While the email offers only basic details, its placement among Tampa Theatre’s upcoming features points to The Invite as one of the venue’s next highlighted screenings after a busy run of June and early July programming.
The Taylor Screening Room will also be hosting other notable releases around the same time, including Backrooms, which opens July 3, and the final shows of existing titles like The Python Hunt and Ethan Bloom through June 25. That lineup gives moviegoers plenty of reasons to check back often for fresh programming.
As part of Tampa Theatre’s ongoing calendar of films and events, The Invite adds to a diverse slate that ranges from community screenings and sing-alongs to new releases and special offsite showings. Ticket buyers interested in the July 9 opening can look to Tampa Theatre for more information as the date approaches.
