Tampa Theatre is bringing a splash of summer fun to Sparkman Wharf with a free outdoor sing-along presentation of The Little Mermaid on Sunday, July 26. The 6:30 p.m. event invites fans of all ages to “be part of our world” while singing along to beloved songs from the 2023 live-action film, which reimagines Ariel’s story for a new generation. The screening will celebrate the mix of classic Howard Ashman and Alan Menken favorites and newer additions by Lin-Manuel Miranda, making it a family-friendly night that bridges childhood nostalgia and modern Disney magic.
The event is part of Tampa Theatre’s Summer Sing-Along Series, presented by QC in partnership with Sparkman Wharf. Admission is free, and the first 100 guests to arrive by 6:00 p.m. will receive a complimentary LED fan and a bag of Tampa Theatre’s famous popcorn, courtesy of the series sponsor. With the film running 2 hours and 15 minutes and rated G, it offers an easygoing evening of music, fantasy and community fun under the open sky.
Organizers are encouraging moviegoers to arrive early, settle in, and enjoy one of the season’s most cheerful public events.
