Comedy fans looking for a night of unpredictable laughs have a reason to head to Spitfire Comedy House on Thursday, August 21, 2025, for Unprompted: Comedy Game Show. The event promises exactly what its title suggests: no scripts, no prep, and plenty of off-the-cuff chaos. According to the newsletter from I Love the Burg, the show features three comedians thrown into the fire with zero advance warning, turning audience suggestions and spontaneous reactions into the fuel for the night.
The concept sets up a fast-paced blend of stand-up, improv, and game-show energy, making it a standout option among the week’s local events. While the surrounding Tampa Bay weekend calendar includes everything from an ’80s party at 3 Daughters Brewing to family-friendly market stops and museum fun, Unprompted is aimed squarely at adults who want something a little more unpredictable.
Spitfire Comedy House has become a natural fit for intimate live comedy, and this event leans into that atmosphere with a format that rewards quick wit and total improvisational courage. For anyone craving a fresh live-entertainment option on August 21, this is one show where the funniest moments may be the ones nobody planned.
