Clearwater’s Ruth Eckerd Hall is setting the tone for a soft-rock, feel-good night with Yacht Rock Summer on Friday, July 25, 2025. The concert, highlighted in the I Love the Burg weekend roundup, brings together Pablo Cruise and Ambrosia’s David Pack for an evening of smooth harmonies and breezy classic hits. Fans of the laid-back sound often associated with late-’70s and early-’80s radio can expect a nostalgic setlist that leans into the genre’s signature mellow grooves.
The event stands out on a busy weekend packed with local entertainment across Pinellas and Tampa Bay, from baseball and comedy to food festivals and area-wide 727 Day specials. But for music lovers, Yacht Rock Summer offers one of the weekend’s most polished live performances. Ruth Eckerd Hall, one of the region’s premier venues, provides the perfect setting for an indoor summer concert that trades beach bling for sophisticated nostalgia.
Whether you come for the timeless songs, the vocal harmonies, or just an excuse to dress in your best boat-ready attire, this show promises a relaxed night out in Clearwater. For anyone looking to cruise into the weekend with classic hits, Yacht Rock Summer should be a top pick.
